Position Objective
Ensure effective planning, monitoring, and control of project activities to deliver within scope, schedule, budget, and quality.
Establish a centralized project controls framework covering scheduling, reporting, cost control, contracts, materials, assets, HSE, permitting, and QA.
Improve cross-functional coordination, reporting visibility, process automation, data integrity, risk management, and compliance.
Project Controls Responsibilities
- Control and manage project scope and budget activities from planning through implementation and final handover.
- Oversee scope assignment and distribution to contractors across all regions.
- Manage Project Controls Office resources for inter-project reporting, scheduling, and coordination.
- Monitor invoicing activities to close financial gaps and achieve management KPIs.
- Align, unify, and enhance project reporting practices across departments and regions.
- Oversee system modifications and conduct audits to identify discrepancies and ensure data accuracy.
- Prepare and maintain the Project Implementation Plan and oversee scheduling and reporting.
- Lead regular meetings with internal teams, contractors, and external stakeholders.
- Monitor project progress against approved vendor and contractor implementation plans.
- Prepare handover performance reports and compliance analyses for invoicing and contractor evaluation.
- Maintain the Project Communication Plan and establish effective information channels.
- Oversee change management, risk management, process enforcement, and continuous improvement across project control domains.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum 15 years of experience in project controls, project management, or telecom infrastructure delivery.
- At least five years in a senior or managerial role overseeing large-scale telecom or infrastructure projects.
- Strong experience in large-scale telecom project environments.
- Expertise in project control methodologies, cost management, scheduling, and reporting.
- Proficiency in Power BI, advanced Excel, ERP systems, and data analytics.
- International experience in a developed telecom market is advantageous.
- PMP, PMI-SP, PMI-RMP, or PRINCE2 certifications are preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
