Operations Assurance Engineer - Core and Cloud

Position Objective

Acceptance and Quality

• Verify that Core and Cloud vendors have appropriate quality processes and procedures compliant with project specifications.
• Coordinate inspection plans and identify essential inspection points for quality, performance, and work progress.
• Review acceptance criteria and Acceptance Test Plans and ensure documents, schedules, and resources are complete and approved.
• Coordinate acceptance of Core Network deliveries across site acceptance, end-to-end, and failover stages.
• Track quality and acceptance targets and provide progress and status updates.

Audits and Fault Management

• Coordinate with field inspectors on sample inspection methodology to identify, escalate, and resolve quality problems.
• Prepare quality assurance audit plans and follow corrective actions for nonconformities and process deviations.
• Work with vendors on deep-dive analysis of chronic and unresolved faults.
• Conduct audits and verify configurations across all core domains.

Governance and Operations Support

• Lead weekly and monthly governance meetings for Core Network KPI reviews and action plan preparation.
• Coordinate parameter tuning and new feature implementation with vendors, including impact analysis.
• Support the Operations Assurance Manager with customer acceptance of services.
• Support technical teams in defining acceptance test methodologies for customer service acceptance.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications or a related field.
• At least 10 years of documented professional experience in an operator or vendor organization.
• At least 3 years managing field teams and leading site acceptance activities in Core Network and Cloud domains.
• Recent and relevant management-level experience on major mobile LTE, 3G, or 2G telecommunications projects.

Skills

• Excellent organizational, supervision, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Fluent English and experience working in multicultural and multinational environments.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
