Position Objective
Lead acceptance and handover for a data centre and technical buildings project.
Ensure completed works and systems are inspected, tested, documented, and verified before acceptance.
Act as the focal point between construction, testing and commissioning, and operations.
Acceptance and Handover Responsibilities
- Develop the acceptance and handover plan, criteria, responsibilities, and documentation requirements.
- Review contractor testing plans, method statements, and Inspection and Test Plans.
- Coordinate FAT, SAT, and IST for critical infrastructure systems.
- Manage snagging, punch lists, documentation, meetings, phased handovers, and client training.
- Issue acceptance certificates and handover packs and report readiness, risks, and outstanding items.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering, or a related discipline.
