Responsibilities
- Ensure baseline schedule follow up, monitoring, performance reporting, and change control assessment
- Advise on application of effective planning techniques and controls (earned value, cost/schedule variance, EAC, critical path analysis)
- Support program integration, governance, formats, plan optimization, and project controls best practices
- Develop integrated project schedules reflecting interface milestones and multiple contractor schedules
- Monitor and control program compliance with contractual obligations
- Generate weekly/monthly reports on progress, actuals, forecast, and variance explanations
- Manage governance for robust cost and schedule performance across integrated programs
- Guide review of Project Baseline Schedule for compliance with contract requirements
- Manage progress certification and invoice payment under the contract
- Develop and improve project control procedures, systems, and tools
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering from a reputable university
- 20+ years of project experience in oil & gas industry
- Minimum 5 years in similar position for international oil & gas or petrochemical projects
- At least 5 years ADNOC experience preferred
- Full understanding of schedule, cost and risk analysis tools and techniques
- Detailed knowledge of project control principles, policies, and procedures

Job Purpose
- A Project Control Manager to perform project control function including project planning, cost control for the Project as per Project Execution Plan.
- The Project Controls Manager shall oversee all project control activities and provide leadership to team members.
- Analyse and perform project planning, scheduling and monitoring for the Project.
Key Accountabilities Project Control
- Ensure baseline schedule follow up and monitoring, performance reporting, baseline change control assessment, risk management, earned value management guidance and tools.
- Advice and consult on the application of effective planning techniques and controls (earned value, cost and schedule variance, estimates at completion, critical path analysis).
- Support program integration, governance, formats, plan optimization, and project controls best practices.
- Support and advise on the definition of Project Controls and Earned Value Management policies, procedures and standards.
- Involve actively in the development of integrated project schedule reflecting all interface milestones.
- Monitor and control program compliance in respect of project contractual obligations.
- Ensure contract, procurement, planning and scheduling activities are performed as per Company requirements.
- Support the PCM on all contractual and commercial issues.
- Coordinate and attend internal/external project reviews and other meetings.
- Generate weekly/monthly reports in line with project and company reporting calendar.
- Ensure project controls processes are consistently applied across the project.
- Manage governance to ensure robust cost and schedule performance for agreed Scope of Work.
Internal Control
- Develop and improve project control procedures, systems and tools.
- Be an active advocate of project controls principles for better management of project operations.
Minimum Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from a reputable and recognized university.
- 20+ years of project experience in oil & gas industry with knowledge of project plans, schedules and cost control.
- Minimum 5 years in similar position for international Oil & Gas or Petrochemical projects.
- At least 5 years ADNOC experience is preferred.
Minimum Experience & Knowledge & Skills
- Total 20+ years’ work experience.
- Minimum 5+ years in Oil & Gas experience of progressive professional experience in project control.
- At least 5+ years ADNOC experience is preferred.
Professional Certifications
- Preferred but not mandatory to have PMP, CCP.
Technical Competencies
- Project control (Planning, scheduling, monitoring and control) skills.
- Full understanding of schedule, cost and risk analysis tools and techniques.
- Technical understanding and proficient knowledge related to Oil & Gas business.
- Planning and implementation skills.
- Detailed knowledge of principles, policies, procedures, and internal processes pertaining to project control transactions.
