Position Details

The position is identified in the description as Project Head.

The role is located in Riyadh within the BIC department.

The required specialty is Civil Engineer.

Education and Experience

  • A bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a master’s degree is required.
  • The role requires 20+ years of experience and project manager experience delivering a high-rise tower from planning through handover, including KSA-Riyadh experience.

Technical Knowledge

  • Experience is required in high-rise buildings, commercial towers, mixed-use developments, hotels, and large-scale vertical construction projects.
  • Knowledge is required across high-rise methodologies, structural systems, façade and curtain wall packages, MEP integration, testing and commissioning, and tower logistics.
  • Experience managing tower projects through design, procurement, construction, fit-out, testing and commissioning, and handover is required.
  • The role requires leadership, decision-making, contract management, communication, stakeholder management, risk management, problem-solving, and Primavera proficiency.

Primary Functions

  • Lead delivery of high-rise, commercial tower, mixed-use, hospitality, and complex vertical construction projects.
  • Deliver projects within scope, schedule, budget, quality, and contract requirements.
  • Ensure design completeness, constructability, cost efficiency, value engineering, and technical optimization.
  • Develop procurement strategies, manage tenders, evaluate contractor submissions, and recommend awards.
  • Oversee site activities and monitor contractor performance, resources, productivity, budgets, variations, claims, and contract compliance.
  • Ensure QA/QC implementation, monitor inspections, and address non-conformances.
  • Coordinate clients, consultants, contractors, and authorities and secure timely approvals.
  • Identify risks, implement mitigation strategies, and provide early delivery warnings.
  • Lead and coach teams, manage workloads and KPIs, and resolve operational issues.

QHSSE Responsibilities

  • Implement Bureau Veritas safety programs and comply with applicable legal and HSE requirements.
  • Maintain a tidy, hazard-free work area and promptly report hazards, faults, deviations, and HSE incidents.
  • Participate in risk controls and incident investigations and take action on unsafe acts or conditions.
  • Protect personal health and safety and the safety of others, cooperate on safety matters, and avoid misusing safety provisions.
