Bureau Veritas is hiring a Multi NDT Technician for its marine and offshore testing, inspection, and certification operations.
The role is based in Doha and is offered on a fixed-term contract.
Job Description
- Perform NDT methods according to the applicable certification level.
- Conduct inspections using approved procedures, project specifications, and applicable codes.
- Interpret and evaluate indications accurately and report the results.
- Comply with company and client HSE requirements.
Experience and Qualifications
- Candidates must have at least five years of NDT application experience, including manual UT for welds.
- At least three years of post-certification experience in oil and gas or similar operating companies is required.
- Candidates must hold a minimum diploma and PCN Level II UT, MT, and PT certification.
- The role requires at least two years of post-certification experience in UT, MT, and PT.
- Technicians must be able to perform PMI, hardness, ferrite, vacuum box, UT, PT, and MT examinations.
- Additional qualification in PMI, hardness, ferrite testing, and vacuum box testing is preferred.
- Technicians must be able to interpret examination results and use computer software to prepare reports and maintain job status.
