Job Purpose
Lead and oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of major programmes and projects.
Ensure alignment with strategic objectives, approved budgets, timelines, quality standards, and stakeholder requirements.
Programme and Project Leadership
- Lead assigned programmes and major projects from initiation and planning through execution, completion, and handover.
- Develop delivery strategies, execution plans, schedules, budgets, and governance frameworks.
- Provide direction to Project Managers, consultants, contractors, and multidisciplinary project teams.
- Monitor performance against milestones, KPIs, budgets, and delivery schedules.
Commercial, Risk and Stakeholder Management
- Oversee budgets, cost forecasts, procurement activities, variations, claims, and commercial performance.
- Identify and manage risks, issues, dependencies, and constraints and implement mitigation and recovery plans.
- Manage clients, consultants, contractors, authorities, and other key stakeholders.
- Chair progress meetings and ensure actions, decisions, and escalations are managed effectively.
