Job Description
The Program Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing a large-scale, multi-entity FinOps and Software Asset Management (SAM) program across multiple cloud environments.
This role ensures alignment across all delivery workstreams, manages program-level dependencies and risks, and delivers the program on time, within scope, and within budget, while embedding FinOps Foundation principles, best practices and governance across all participating entities.
Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive program plans and timelines, including scope, objectives, deliverables, milestones, resources, and budgets aligned to organizational goals, covering all entities in the program's scope.
- Monitor program performance on an ongoing basis, proactively identifying risks, issues, and scope changes, and driving timely resolution to keep delivery on track.
- Own overall program budget, resource allocation, and financial performance, ensuring the program is delivered within approved cost and resourcing parameters.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including program sponsors, business users, project managers, delivery teams, and external vendors, to ensure program objectives and expectations are met.
- Communicate program status, progress, and risks to all stakeholders, ensuring they are informed and engaged throughout the program lifecycle.
- Ensure compliance with program management best practices, methodologies, and industry standards, including SAFe, PMBOK, Prince2, Agile, and SCRUM.
