Position Overview
DEECA is seeking a Program Manager, Commercial Performance to lead commercial strategies, contracts and supplier performance arrangements for Bushfire and Forest Services.
The role supports value for money, operational readiness and emergency management capability across Victoria.
The position provides expert commercial advice, leads complex negotiations and drives continuous improvement across the contract lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage commercial strategies, contracts and supplier performance arrangements.
- Provide commercial advice, draft and interpret contract terms, and lead complex negotiations.
- Manage commercial arrangements across the contract lifecycle and support value-for-money outcomes.
- Work with procurement, asset management, logistics and operational teams to strengthen governance and readiness.
Specialist Expertise
- Experience providing commercial and contract management advice across a supplier portfolio.
- Experience managing contracts across their lifecycle, including value-for-money management.
- Understanding of procurement and contract management frameworks, governance, delegations and record-keeping requirements.
