Position Overview
The position is a Learning Specialist focused on Teacher Practice, VCE Vocational Major, and Victorian Pathways Certificate programs.
The role combines classroom teaching with school-wide educational leadership, teacher development, curriculum improvement, and student learning support.
The position is ongoing and full-time at Learning Specialist Range 3.
Selection Criteria
- Demonstrate expert curriculum knowledge and the ability to lead school priorities.
- Lead VTLM 2.0 planning and implementation in response to student learning needs.
- Use student learning data to lead improvement initiatives and support evidence-informed teaching.
- Demonstrate exemplary interpersonal, leadership, collaboration, and change-management skills.
- Provide high-level educational leadership in VCE Vocational Major and Victorian Pathways Certificate programs.
- Model Department values, reflect on practice, and contribute to whole-school professional learning.
Role Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality classroom teaching and learning while modelling exemplary teaching practice.
- Lead development, implementation, and review of VCE Vocational Major and Victorian Pathways Certificate programs for Years 9 to 12.
