About The Role
A senior government office in Abu Dhabi is seeking an exceptional Program Manager at Director level.
This is a high-visibility role sitting at the centre of strategic decision-making, responsible for overseeing a portfolio of critical government initiatives and ensuring delivery against the highest standards of accountability and performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide centralised oversight across multiple concurrent strategic initiatives
- Establish and maintain governance frameworks, reporting structures, and performance tracking mechanisms
- Monitor progress, escalate risks early, and drive corrective actions
- Engage and manage relationships with senior government stakeholders
- Maintain rigorous analytical and reporting discipline across all workstreams
Requirements
- Strong program management experience within government or large-scale transformation environments
- Proven ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives simultaneously
- Expertise in governance frameworks and PMO best practices
- Comfortable operating at the most senior levels without direct authority
- Exceptional communication and synthesis skills
- High levels of discretion, professionalism, and integrity
- PMO certification desirable
- Abu Dhabi Government experience highly preferred
- UAE National preferred; Arabic language capability strongly desirable
- Candidates with a consulting background preferred
