Role Overview
The Joinery Production Planner plans, schedules, coordinates, and monitors joinery production to meet delivery dates, quality standards, and project priorities.
The role coordinates with project management, design, procurement, workshop, stores, quality, logistics, and site teams.
Department and Industry
The position sits within Production / Operations and reports to the Production Manager or CEO.
The industry covers joinery, interior fit-out, and furniture manufacturing in the UAE.
Production Planning
- Prepare daily, weekly, and project-wise production schedules based on project requirements and delivery dates.
- Prioritize jobs using deadlines, site requirements, material availability, and production capacity.
- Allocate work across cutting, CNC, edge banding, machining, assembly, finishing, upholstery, packing, and dispatch.
- Revise schedules for project changes, urgent requirements, delays, and material shortages.
Project Coordination
- Coordinate priorities, delivery dates, and site installation requirements with project managers.
