Position Overview
The Joinery Manager oversees the overall management and efficient operation of a joinery factory.
The role covers production, manpower, materials, machinery, quality control, production planning, costing, and delivery.
The role supports interior fit-out and joinery work manufactured to approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project schedules.
Factory and Production Management
- Manage day-to-day joinery factory operations and maintain efficient production processes and workflow.
- Plan production activities, monitor productivity, achieve production targets, and meet project deadlines.
- Coordinate design, drafting, cutting, CNC, production, finishing, assembly, and installation teams.
- Prepare production schedules, allocate work by capacity and priority, monitor progress, and correct delays.
- Ensure completed joinery items are ready for delivery and installation according to project schedules.
Drawings and Materials
- Review approved shop drawings and resolve technical or manufacturing issues with the drafting team.
- Ensure accurate cutting lists, material take-offs, and BOMs use the latest approved drawing revisions.
