About the Role
Alpago seeks an experienced Production Incharge to plan, supervise, and control day-to-day joinery production activities in Dubai. The role ensures manufacturing output meets project schedules, quality standards, and cost targets while optimizing manpower, machinery, and materials.

Responsibilities
- Plan and organize daily/weekly production schedules across all Joinery sub departments in line with project timelines
- Monitor production progress against master schedule and escalate delays or resource constraints
- Allocate manpower, machinery, and materials efficiently across ongoing jobs to optimize productivity
- Supervise line supervisors and carpenters to ensure adherence to shop drawings and technical specifications
- Coordinate with QC Department to ensure inspections and non conformance corrections
- Coordinate with Store/Procurement team for timely availability of raw materials
- Enforce workplace health, safety, and housekeeping standards (5S)
- Monitor machine and equipment condition; liaise with Maintenance for preventive and breakdown maintenance
- Track daily manpower attendance, productivity, and wastage; prepare production reports
- Support implementation of SOPs, work instructions, and disciplinary system
- Identify skill gaps and coordinate with HR/Training for on the job training
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce cycle time, material wastage, and rework
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Wood Technology, Interior Fit Out, or related field
- Minimum 15 years of experience in joinery/furniture/interior fit out production
- At least 5 8 years in a supervisory or in charge capacity
- Sound knowledge of joinery manufacturing processes, materials, and machinery (CNC, edge banding, panel saws, etc.)
- Ability to read and interpret shop drawings, cutting lists, and technical specifications
- Experience in a UAE manufacturing/fit out environment is preferred

About the Company
- To plan, supervise, and control the day to day production activities of the Joinery Division, ensuring manufacturing output meets project schedules, quality standards, cost targets and optimal utilization of manpower, machinery, and materials.
Responsibilities
- Plan and organize daily/weekly production schedules across all Joinery sub departments (CNC, Cutting, Machining, Assembly, Finishing, Upholstery, Installation) in line with project timelines.
- Monitor production progress against the master schedule and escalate delays or resource constraints to the Production Manager.
- Allocate manpower, machinery, and materials efficiently across ongoing jobs to optimize productivity and minimize downtime.
- Supervise line supervisors and carpenters to ensure adherence to approved shop drawings, cutting lists, and technical specifications.
- Coordinate with the QC Department to ensure in process and final inspections are conducted, and non conformances are corrected before dispatch.
- Coordinate with the Store/Procurement team to ensure timely availability of raw materials, hardware, and consumables for production.
- Enforce workplace health, safety, and housekeeping standards (5S) on the shop floor in line with Group HSE guidelines.
- Monitor machine and equipment condition; liaise with Maintenance for preventive and breakdown maintenance to avoid production disruption.
- Track daily manpower attendance, productivity, and wastage; prepare production and performance reports for management review.
- Support implementation of SOPs, work instructions, and the Warning, Penalty & Reward System for the production workforce.
- Identify skill gaps within the workforce and coordinate with HR/Training for on the job training or upskilling.
- Ensure proper documentation of production data, job cards, and daily progress reports (DPRs).
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Wood Technology, Interior Fit Out, or related field.
- Relevant trade certifications in joinery/carpentry are an advantage.
- Minimum 15 years of experience in joinery/furniture/interior fit out production, with at least 5 8 years in a supervisory or in charge capacity.
- Sound knowledge of joinery manufacturing processes, materials, and machinery (CNC, edge banding, panel saws, etc.).
- Ability to read and interpret shop drawings, cutting lists, and technical specifications.
- Experience in a UAE manufacturing/fit out environment is preferred.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of joinery production processes and woodworking techniques.
- Expertise in CNC operations, carpentry, finishing, and assembly workflows.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and BOQs.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent planning, coordination, and problem solving abilities.
- Working knowledge of MS Office/ERP systems for production reporting.
- High attention to quality, safety, and deadline discipline.
