Role Overview
Define key metrics and tracking requirements across the customer journey from acquisition through account funding.
Develop detailed analytics specifications and oversee accurate implementation by a third-party investor application vendor.
The vendor manages the underlying application code and releases.
Responsibilities
- Translate acquisition and commercial questions into measurable funnel stages and an implementation backlog.
- Specify GA4, Google Tag Manager, AppsFlyer, and selected product analytics instrumentation across web and mobile.
- Define privacy-aware consent, identity, and attribution behavior without creating an inappropriate enterprise client master.
- Write vendor-ready specifications and validate iOS, Android, and web tracking behavior after implementation.
- Separate regulated onboarding friction from remediable UX drop-off and report both clearly.
- Advise on campaign performance metrics and controlled experimentation without executing campaigns or media buying.
Requirements
- Deep GA4 and Google Tag Manager experience plus at least one relevant mobile or product analytics platform.
- Knowledge of mobile SDK and web instrumentation and their app-versus-browser collection differences.
- Experience writing third-party tagging specifications and assuring implementation.
- Experience with funnel analysis and A/B test design, including judging when traffic is too low for reliable testing.
- Strong consent, privacy, PII minimization, and identity-resolution awareness.
- Clear specification writing and confident third-party vendor coordination.
