Responsibilities
- Drive all prepaid card launch workstreams including UAE Central Bank regulatory submissions, BIN setup, scheme onboarding, card profiling, KYC/AML flow design, limit configuration, testing, and go live readiness
- Define the prepaid card customer value proposition (features, pricing, rewards, digital wallet integration) ensuring alignment with existing user base and retail strategy
- Monitor portfolio performance across activation rates, average load/spend, revenue per active card, churn, and fraud; manage prepaid card P&L and recommend actions to improve profitability
- Serve as central product contact across technology, operations, risk, finance, marketing, and platform teams, as well as external scheme partners and processors
- Prepare monthly performance dashboards and insight packs for senior stakeholders; support steering committees by tracking milestones, risks, and issue resolution
Requirements
- 6 8 years of experience in Prepaid card product launch, from CVP design and BIN setup through go live and post launch optimization
- UAE/GCC market experience in card issuing or digital payments product management
- Portfolio analytics ability to interpret performance data (activation, spend, churn, P&L) and translate into actionable product and commercial decisions
- Scheme coordination working knowledge of Mastercard and/or Visa card issuing processes, pricing, and compliance requirements
- Professional proficiency in English

Role Overview
- Our client, a global leader in the Cards & Payments industry, is engaged with a leading bank in Dubai and is seeking to onboard a Prepaid Cards Product Manager.
- The client is preparing to launch a digital wallet based on prepaid card products under its established consumer payment platform.
- This role will own the end to end product lifecycle of the new prepaid card from regulatory readiness and CVP definition through BIN setup, scheme onboarding, go live, and post launch portfolio optimization.
Key Responsibilities
- Product Launch Execution (~40%): Drive all prepaid card launch workstreams including UAE Central Bank regulatory submissions, BIN setup, scheme onboarding, card profiling, KYC/AML flow design, limit configuration, testing, and go live readiness.
- CVP Design & Commercialization (~25%): Define the prepaid card customer value proposition (features, pricing, rewards, digital wallet integration) ensuring alignment with existing user base and retail strategy.
- Portfolio Management & P&L Oversight (~20%): Monitor portfolio performance across activation rates, average load/spend, revenue per active card, churn, and fraud; manage prepaid card P&L and recommend actions to improve profitability.
- Cross Functional Coordination (~10%): Serve as central product contact across technology, operations, risk, finance, marketing, and platform teams, as well as external scheme partners and processors.
- Reporting & Governance (~5%): Prepare monthly performance dashboards and insight packs for senior stakeholders; support steering committees by tracking milestones, risks, and issue resolution.
Requirements
