The Opportunity
Join Smythe LLP’s Digital team as a Product Owner responsible for enterprise business applications and digital products.
Shape technology-enabled solutions that improve client experiences, streamline operations, and deliver measurable business value.
Serve as the bridge between business and technology by translating organizational goals into product plans, requirements, and priorities.
Salary
- The stated salary range is CAD 106,000 to CAD 172,500.
Workplace
- The role is based in the Vancouver office, with a hybrid environment available after completion of the probationary period.
Product Leadership
- Define product vision, roadmaps, priorities, delivery objectives, and investment alignment.
- Identify improvements to business processes, client experiences, operational efficiency, data quality, and business outcomes.
- Own the product backlog, including epics, features, user stories, acceptance criteria, and defect remediation.
Delivery and Stakeholders
- Participate in Agile planning, refinement, reviews, and release planning.
- Translate business needs into requirements, user stories, process flows, and solution requirements.
- Collaborate with developers, architects, QA professionals, vendors, and implementation partners.
- Validate completed work and support change management, training, and user adoption.
Applications and Improvement
- Support CRM, ERP, client-facing portals, workflow solutions, reporting platforms, and integrated business systems.
- Monitor product performance and drive continuous improvement across products, processes, and delivery practices.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, Business Analyst, or in a related role.
- Experience delivering enterprise application implementations, enhancements, or business transformation initiatives.
- Experience with enterprise applications, Agile or Scrum delivery, requirements management, systems integration, and stakeholder collaboration.
Preferred Qualifications
- Preferred qualifications include process mapping, solution design, digital transformation, automation, AI-enabled initiatives, and a relevant degree or diploma.
- CSPO, PSPO, CBAP, PMP, or another relevant certification is considered an asset.
