Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and launch new lending products aligned with business strategy and market demand.
- Continuously review and enhance existing lending products to improve competitiveness and profitability.
- Define product features, pricing, eligibility criteria, and customer value propositions.
- Monitor product performance, including volumes, revenues, margins, and delinquency ratios.
- Develop strategies to grow the lending portfolio while managing risk effectively.
- Analyze market trends, customer behavior, and competitor offerings to identify growth opportunities.
- Collaborate with Risk, Compliance, Operations, Sales, Finance, and IT teams for product lifecycle management.
- Coordinate with digital teams for online lending journeys and process improvements.
- Support sales teams with product training, campaigns, and sales enablement tools.
- Ensure all lending products comply with regulatory requirements and internal credit policies.
- Work closely with Risk teams to maintain appropriate underwriting standards and controls.
- Drive automation and digital transformation initiatives within the lending journey.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
- Master's degree (MBA) preferred.
- 8–10 years of experience in lending product management within banking or financial services.
- Strong understanding of retail/SME lending products and credit processes.
- Product management and development expertise.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Knowledge of credit risk and lending lifecycle.
- Stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Commercial acumen and financial analysis.
- Familiarity with digital lending platforms and tools.
- Project management capabilities.
