Product Development Engineer

Objective

Job Requirements

• · Successfully manage multiple projects with minimal supervision for product development of water filtration systems.
• · Plan and execute projects on time and on budget.
• · Lead cross-functional teams through the Stage Gate based product development process.
• · Communicate effectively with internal (sales, marketing, quality, operations, management) and external (customers, vendors) stakeholders.
• · Create requirements documentation, drawings, labels, etc.
• · Quickly learn new technologies, processes, and systems.
• · Identify and execute continuous improvement opportunities.
• · Conduct root cause analysis and utilize problem-solving tools to resolve issues.
• · Support Quality in conducting root cause analysis on returned products and complaints.
• · Make objective, data-driven decisions and organize documentation to support them.

Experience and Requirements

• · 3-5 years of product development experience in a manufacturing environment- preferably in water filtration, consumer goods, or high-volume engineered products.
• · Applies engineering analysis, material selection, and design best practices to develop robust, manufacturable filtration products that meet performance and regulatory requirements.
