We're looking for a confident, hands-on HSEQ Lead to join our team based at our Head Office in Hope Valley, Perth.
This is a great opportunity for someone looking to take the next step in their HSEQ career. Working closely with operational leaders and HSE Business Partners, you will help implement Freo Group's HSEQ priorities, strengthen organisational capability and support continuous improvement across safety, quality and environmental performance.
The role will suit someone who enjoys translating strategic priorities into practical systems, standards and processes, building strong relationships across the business and providing trusted technical advice that helps teams achieve safe and effective outcomes.
The right person will bring strong technical HSEQ knowledge, sound judgement and a genuine passion for supporting leaders and employees to create a positive and proactive safety culture.
Tertiary qualification in Work Health and Safety, Environmental, Quality, Risk Management or a related discipline.
HSEQ experience within mining, crane and lifting, construction, transport, maintenance or another high-risk industry.
Strong knowledge of Australian WHS legislation, regulations and relevant standards.
Experience supporting HSEQ systems, compliance, assurance or continuous improvement programs.
Experience in risk management, auditing, incident investigation and corrective action processes.
Exposure to injury management, workers' compensation and return-to-work programs.
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build credibility across all levels of the business.
High levels of integrity, sound judgement and the ability to manage competing priorities.
