Position Summary
Supervise and coordinate daily procurement activities for the timely, cost-effective, and compliant acquisition of goods, materials, equipment, and services.
Work with Finance, Operations, Warehouse, Facilities Management, Engineering, and other departments to meet approved budgets, policies, and procedures.
Supervise procurement team members, monitor supplier performance, support negotiations, control expenditure, and identify cost and process improvements.
Procurement Operations
- Supervise sourcing, quotations, evaluations, purchasing, deliveries, requisitions, purchase orders, and supplier follow-up.
- Evaluate vendors using price, quality, delivery, and service criteria and ensure purchasing approvals and procedures are followed.
Supplier and Vendor Management
- Maintain supplier, contractor, and service-provider relationships and evaluate capabilities, pricing, quality, delivery, and compliance.
- Monitor vendor performance, support negotiations, resolve delivery and quality issues, and maintain accurate vendor records.
Cost and Contract Management
- Monitor expenditure against budgets, support invoice verification and reconciliation, analyze purchasing costs, and implement savings initiatives.
- Administer supplier contracts and purchase orders, review commercial terms, monitor utilization, and maintain audit-ready documentation.
Inventory, Compliance, and Reporting
- Coordinate material and service requirements, support inventory planning, monitor stock levels, and align purchasing with operations and project schedules.
- Maintain procurement records, prepare cost and supplier performance reports, support audits, and ensure compliance with financial controls.
Team Supervision
- Allocate work, monitor procurement staff performance, provide guidance on procedures and supplier management, and support team capability development.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of procurement, purchasing, supply chain, or related experience.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in an EPC environment and minimum 4 years in Facilities Services or Facilities Management.
- Minimum 5 years of vendor management experience and minimum 3 years of cost reduction or cost optimization experience.
- Strong knowledge of budgeting, financial analysis, procurement controls, cost management, supplier negotiations, purchasing, contracts, and vendor performance.
- Experience with YARDI, ODOO, or similar procurement and financial management ERP systems.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- The preferred profile combines procurement and finance or accounting knowledge with substantial EPC and facilities services experience.
- Candidates should demonstrate commercial awareness, organization, analytical ability, integrity, accuracy, confidentiality, and effective management of multiple priorities.
- The role requires the ability to supervise procurement personnel and coordinate effectively across multiple departments.
