Finance Manager

Company Description

The Role

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor financial performance, contract profitability, revenue, direct and indirect costs, manpower, subcontractors, materials, and operational expenses.
• Prepare contract-level profit and loss reports, monthly management accounts, profitability reports, dashboards, and management information.
• Review billing against contractual terms, work orders, purchase orders, attendance, service completion, and agreed rates.
• Monitor unbilled revenue, pending invoices, deductions, retentions, penalties, credit notes, disputes, revenue recognition, and collection aging.
• Follow up on overdue client payments and report collection performance and major overdue accounts.
• Review payroll and manpower costs, including headcount, overtime, allowances, accommodation, transportation, and approved budgets.
• Manage accounts payable, supplier aging, payment commitments, invoice verification, subcontractor payments, and approval documentation.
• Monitor subcontractor costs and performance against budgets, rates, actual services, manpower deployment, attendance, and service reports.
• Prepare cash-flow forecasts and monitor daily and monthly cash positions.
• Supervise the finance team, establish KPIs, enforce finance processes, promote accurate reporting, and resolve audit findings.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• ACCA, CPA, CMA, or an equivalent professional qualification is preferred.
• Minimum 5–8 years of finance or accounting experience is required.
• Minimum 2–3 years in a Finance Manager or similar supervisory position is required.
• Experience in Facility Management, Property Management, Construction, Hospitality, Engineering, or another service-based industry is preferred.

Office Details

• Office location is Motor City.
• Office timing is Monday to Saturday.
