Responsibilities
- Source and negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best pricing, quality, and delivery terms
- Manage procurement of bakery ingredients, packaging materials, equipment, and operational supplies
- Create and process purchase orders and monitor order fulfillment
- Maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers and identify new sourcing opportunities
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with production and operations teams to avoid stock shortages
- Compare quotations and prepare procurement reports
- Ensure all purchased products meet company quality and food safety standards
- Track supplier performance and resolve supply related issues
- Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation
- Support cost saving initiatives without compromising quality
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of procurement experience in bakery, pastry, dessert, or food manufacturing
- UAE experience in Food & Beverage industry is required
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
- Experience sourcing bakery ingredients, food products, and packaging materials
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and MS Office applications
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment and manage multiple priorities
- Knowledge of food safety and supplier compliance is an advantage
