Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients and assist in the production of desserts, pastries, cakes, and bakery items
- Follow recipes, portion sizes, and presentation standards
- Ensure food quality, freshness, and consistency
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area and kitchen equipment
- Comply with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards
- Store ingredients and products correctly using FIFO principles
- Assist with receiving, checking, and storing deliveries
- Support stock control and minimize food waste
- Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to meet production deadlines
- Perform other duties assigned by the Chef de Partie, Sous Chef, or Executive Chef
Requirements
- Certificate or Diploma in Culinary Arts is preferred
- UAE Experience, 1–2 years of experience in a bakery, pastry kitchen, dessert production, or similar role
- Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment and as part of a team

Job Summary
- The Commis Chef assists in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of desserts, pastries, cakes, and other menu items while ensuring high standards of quality, food safety, and cleanliness.
- This role supports the kitchen team in daily operations and contributes to the efficient production of SugarMoo's products.
Key Responsibilities

Qualifications
