Job Purpose
Support procurement activities by sourcing materials and services, processing purchase orders, coordinating with suppliers, and ensuring timely and cost-effective procurement.
Key Responsibilities
- Source suppliers, obtain competitive quotations, prepare and process purchase requisitions and purchase orders, and follow up on deliveries.
- Coordinate procurement needs with internal departments and Stores for inventory replenishment.
- Maintain supplier records and procurement documentation, assist with supplier evaluation and cost optimization, and support ERP/Odoo activities.
- Ensure compliance with procurement procedures and perform other duties assigned by the Reporting Manager.
Qualifications and Experience
- A diploma or bachelor’s degree in procurement, supply chain, logistics, business administration, or a related field is required.
- The role requires 1–3 years of relevant procurement or purchasing experience.
- UAE experience is preferred, while automotive, engineering, manufacturing, or industrial experience is advantageous.
Skills
- Required skills include procurement and vendor management, supplier negotiation, PR/PO processing, MS Office, Excel, ERP/Odoo, planning, organization, communication, attention to detail, problem solving, and teamwork.
Pay
- Pay is AED 2,500–AED 3,000 per month.
Work Location
- Work location is in person.
Performance Indicators
KPIs include timely PR/PO processing, on-time supplier deliveries, documentation accuracy, procurement cycle time, and supplier follow-up effectiveness.
