- Develop, implement, and manage procurement strategies aligned with organizational objectives
- Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers and vendors to secure optimal terms and pricing
- Manage procurement activities including RFQs, RFPs, purchase orders, and contract negotiations
- Monitor supplier performance and address issues related to quality, delivery, or compliance
- Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation in accordance with internal policies and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand procurement needs and ensure timely fulfillment
- Analyze purchasing data to identify trends, cost saving opportunities, and process improvements
- Ensure adherence to budgetary constraints and cost control measures
- Lead and mentor procurement staff
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum 4+ years of progressive experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
- Experience with procurement software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite)
- Solid understanding of contract law and procurement best practices
- Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment
- Professional certification such as CPM, CPSM, or CIPS (preferred)
- Familiarity with sustainability and ethical sourcing practices (preferred)
