- Identify, target, and secure new client opportunities within your specialist market
- Build and maintain long term, strategic partnerships with clients and key decision makers
- Own the full business development lifecycle, from lead generation and pitching through to contract negotiation and account growth
- Develop and execute market entry and client acquisition strategies aligned with company growth objectives
- Achieve and exceed individual and team revenue and sales KPIs
- Maintain a strong understanding of market trends, hiring demands, salary benchmarks, and competitor activity within your vertical
- Represent the business at industry conferences, networking events, and client meetings locally and internationally
- Travel regularly to meet clients and support business expansion efforts
Requirements
- Proven experience in a business development–focused recruitment or staffing role within an agency environment
- Strong market knowledge and established client network in at least one of the following sectors: energy, construction, finance, healthcare, life sciences, or IT
- Demonstrated track record of winning new business and exceeding revenue targets
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
- Highly self motivated, resilient, and commercially driven, with the ability to work effectively in a remote environment

Overview
