Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate cost estimates, quotations, and material take offs based on project requirements and drawings
- Source and procure building materials from approved suppliers at competitive prices
- Obtain and compare supplier quotations and negotiate pricing, delivery terms, and payment conditions
- Issue purchase orders and follow up on deliveries to ensure timely receipt of materials
- Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and identify new sourcing opportunities
- Coordinate with sales, warehouse, logistics, and project teams to ensure material availability
- Monitor market trends, pricing fluctuations, and supplier performance
- Maintain procurement records, cost analyses, and supplier databases
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures
- Support inventory planning and stock management activities
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in a relevant field
- Minimum 3–5 years of UAE experience in building materials procurement and estimation
- Strong knowledge of construction and building materials
- Experience in BOQ preparation, material costing, and vendor management
- Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems
- UAE driving license is preferred
