Responsibilities
- Source and procure food, beverage, kitchen equipment, and catering supplies as per operational requirements
- Obtain quotations, negotiate prices, terms, and contracts with suppliers to achieve cost savings
- Process purchase requisitions and generate purchase orders in a timely manner
- Coordinate with catering operations, kitchen teams, and vendors to ensure uninterrupted supply of goods
- Monitor inventory levels and forecast purchasing needs to avoid shortages or overstocking
- Evaluate supplier performance based on quality, pricing, delivery, and service standards
- Ensure all purchased products meet company quality standards, food safety regulations, and contractual requirements
- Track deliveries and resolve issues related to delays, shortages, or damaged goods
- Maintain accurate procurement records, supplier databases, contracts, and purchasing reports
- Conduct market research to identify new suppliers, products, and cost saving opportunities
- Support budgeting activities and monitor procurement expenses against approved budgets
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures
Requirements
- Experience in procurement, preferably in hospitality or catering
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and quality standards
- Strong negotiation and supplier management skills
- Ability to manage inventory and forecast purchasing needs
- Proficiency in procurement software and MS Office
