Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Catering Supervisor to oversee daily catering and banquet operations, ensuring exceptional service delivery and client satisfaction.
The ideal candidate must have prior experience in catering, banquet services, or hospitality events management and possess strong leadership and organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate all catering and banquet activities, including setup, service, and breakdown
- Ensure smooth execution of events in line with client requirements and company standards
- Lead, train, and manage catering staff to maintain high service quality
- Liaise with clients, event planners, and kitchen teams to ensure seamless communication
- Monitor food presentation, hygiene, and safety standards
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and special requests professionally
- Maintain inventory of catering supplies and equipment
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Assist in scheduling staff and managing shifts for events
Requirements
- **Mandatory:** Proven experience in catering, banquet, or hospitality event operations
- Previous supervisory or team leadership experience preferred
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
Preferred Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management or related field
- Experience handling large-scale events or corporate catering
- Familiarity with catering management systems
