About the Role

- Manage procurement activities for data centre projects including electrical, mechanical, and IT infrastructure
- Prepare RFQs, review technical specifications, and coordinate with engineering and project teams
- Evaluate vendor quotations (technical & commercial) and recommend suitable suppliers
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules with vendors
- Ensure timely issuance of Purchase Orders (POs) in line with project timelines
- Coordinate with suppliers to track order status, delivery, and resolve any delays
- Maintain the approved vendor list and develop new vendors for specialized data centre equipment
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and project requirements
- Work closely with QA/QC teams to ensure materials meet required standards
- Monitor market trends, pricing, and supply risks for critical equipment
- Handle documentation, contracts, and procurement reports
Requirements
- Strong technical knowledge of data centre infrastructure
- Experience in procurement for electrical, mechanical, and IT infrastructure
- Ability to prepare RFQs and review technical specifications
- Experience in vendor evaluation and negotiation
- Familiarity with purchase order issuance and tracking
- Knowledge of QA/QC standards for materials

Role Overview
