ENGIE is seeking a Process Safety Management Specialist to support the implementation of process safety management across the Generation International fleet. - Support the implementation and enhancement of process safety management practices across the GI fleet

- Assist with tracking and close out of actions arising from risk assessments and audits
- Support implementation of hazard identification and risk assessment processes, including Safety Critical Elements (SCEs)
- Participate in safety reviews (HAZID, HAZOP, audits, inspections) across O&M and project sites
- Support project teams in meeting process safety requirements throughout the project lifecycle
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or related field
- NEBOSH Certificate in Process Safety Management (or equivalent) preferred
- 6 8 years' experience in process safety, industrial safety, or related fields
- Experience in power generation, energy, or industrial environments is advantageous
- Exposure to hazard analysis techniques (e.g., HAZOP, BowTie) preferred
- Understanding of industrial processes and associated risks
- Familiarity with process safety management systems and standards
- Strong analytical and problem solving capabilities
- Good communication skills with ability to engage and influence stakeholders
- Ability to support training delivery and knowledge sharing
- Basic incident investigation and root cause analysis skills
- Collaborative mindset with ability to work across geographies

Role Overview
- The Process Safety Management (PSM) Specialist reports to the Head of Health & Safety and supports the effective implementation of process safety management across the Generation International (GI) fleet.
- Working closely with the Process Safety manager, this role focuses on supporting the development of local PSM champions, coordinating process safety network activities, and facilitating hazard identification and risk analysis to help mitigate risks across assets.
- The role will contribute to training delivery, performance monitoring, incident investigations, and sharing lessons learned to drive continuous improvement.
- The position is based in Dubai, with frequent travel across the GI perimeter, including GCC, KSA, Africa, Chile, Peru, Mexico, Canada, and Australia to support site activities.
