Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with government authorities to facilitate smooth permitting and planning of Abu Dhabi projects
- Plan and lead meetings with municipalities, local authorities and agencies
- Develop and follow up specific applications and approvals
- Coordinate between Engie project team and local authorities, government and agencies
- Plan and manage government relations activities, including securing special licenses and permits
- Coordinate with relevant agencies to arrange in house and external events, meetings, and other functions
Requirements
- Higher Diploma/Bachelor's degree in business administration, communication, legal or a related field
- At least five years of experience working as a Relationship Manager or in a similar role in the Abu Dhabi governmental or government related entities
- Project and construction related experience dealing with key stakeholders
- Proven experience in public relations and a strong understanding of project documents and local UAE laws
- Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English and Arabic
- In depth understanding of office management procedures and departmental and legal policies
- Proficiency with UAE government processes (including familiarity with CICPA processes)
- Understanding of complex project structure with multiparty and involving international and local stakeholders
- Understanding of typical construction related issues with an ability to preempt and resolve issues

Required Qualifications
