Manufacturing engineering responsibilities
- Lead and plan manufacturing engineering programs.
- Lead teams defining processes to fabricate, assemble, inspect, and test products and machines.
- Define production tools and fixtures, product specifications, quality standards, and inspection methods.
Leadership and delivery
- Act as a subject matter expert, collaborate with teams, manage delivery, and make team decisions.
- Engage multiple teams, contribute to key decisions, and solve problems across teams.
Digital transformation scope
- Shape digital transformation solutions for industrial utility and energy management operations with a sustainability focus.
- Support solution blueprints for OT/IT integration, energy and utility management platforms, and industrial AI.
- Contribute to digital twin and simulation initiatives for utility modeling, energy optimization, and carbon reduction.
- Engage plant and sustainability leadership to shape utility digitalization and sustainability roadmaps.
Required qualifications
- Manufacturing operations experience is required.
- The source states a minimum of 12 years of experience for the lead role.
- 15 years of full-time education is required.
- Industrial utility and energy management operations experience is required across utility monitoring, EMS/BMS integration, SCADA/DCS/PLC, or sustainability and carbon management.
Technical skills
- Knowledge of EMS and BMS implementation and optimization is listed.
- Familiarity with ISO 50001, ISO 14001, GHG Protocol, ISA-95, ISA-88, and IEC 62443 is listed.
- Experience with Industrial IoT, edge computing, and platforms such as Siemens EnergyIP, ABB Ability, Honeywell Forge, or Schneider Electric EcoStruxure is listed.
- Exposure to industrial AI/ML for predictive maintenance, demand forecasting, and carbon emission modeling is listed.
Work location
- The position is based at an office in Bengaluru or Pune.
