Overview
The Process Engineer has responsibility for supporting the country's operational excellence and operational transformation to achieve World Class Operations Management.
This role will support company stakeholders to execute “needle-moving” process improvement initiatives across operations, simplifying the process landscape and enhancing the ability of all processes to deliver on time, on budget and with world class service level to the customers.
Principal Accountabilities
- Champion a "Stop and Fix" World-Class Operations Management culture transformation by implementing structured daily tiered accountability meetings and actively encouraging problem-solving among operations stakeholders.
- Facilitate in-depth reviews of operations performance, presenting key metrics, insights, and progress updates on key initiatives to local and regional leaders, thereby driving informed decision-making and strategic alignment.
- Lead and facilitate root cause analysis (RCA) workshops within operations to identify and address underlying issues.
- Plan and develop strategic roadmaps to drive operational excellence and optimize business expenditure, ensuring alignment with the annual budget and business objectives.
- Work closely with stakeholders, including finance, operations, and leadership, to ensure alignment and effective implementation of OPEX initiatives.
Knowledge & Experience
- The successful candidate will possess a proven track record of delivering results in developing and implementing operational excellence strategies, with a focus on optimizing business expenditure and Customer on time delivery.
- Possess the technical skills necessary to resolve a broad array of business issues, including growth, productivity, quality, and margin.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets and drive informed decision-making.
- Demonstrated mastery of various Lean or Six Sigma tools and methodologies.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in implementing OPEX initiatives at a country level.
- A minimum of 5 year of experience in a manufacturing capacity.
- Exceptional team and workshop facilitation skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders and drive business outcomes.
Competencies
- Bachelor’s degree of Engineering required.
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt and Lean practitioner credentials preferred.
- Formal training or certification in Data analytics is highly desirable.
