PRO (Public Relations Officer) / Typist

Job Summary

Government Liaison & Compliance

• Act as the main point of contact between the organization and government entities such as MOHRE, DED, GDRFA, ICA, and Free Zone authorities.
• Ensure compliance with all UAE regulatory requirements and maintain accurate records for audit purposes.
• Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism.

Immigration & Visa Processing

• Manage end-to-end immigration processes including employment visas, residency permits, work permits, and cancellations.
• Process applications through MOHRE, GDRFA, ICA, and Free Zone portals.
• Facilitate services such as Golden Visa, Dependent Visa, Domestic Worker Visa, and other related processes.
• Prepare and review all required documentation, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.
• Stay updated on UAE immigration laws and provide guidance to employees and management.

Hr & Employee Support

• Support HR in onboarding and offboarding processes related to government formalities.
• Assist employees with visa-related services and documentation requirements.
• Provide training and guidance to internal teams on immigration procedures and compliance.

Licensing & Corporate Services

• Assist with company licensing activities including new license issuance, renewals, amendments, upgrades, and cancellations.
• Coordinate with relevant authorities to ensure smooth processing of all business-related approvals.

Collaboration & Problem Solving

• Work closely with PR, HR, and Legal teams to resolve immigration and regulatory issues.
• Liaise with government authorities to address and resolve any challenges or delays.

Documentation & Record Keeping

• Maintain organized and up-to-date records of all immigration and licensing documents.
• Ensure proper filing systems for easy retrieval and compliance audits.

Additional Responsibilities

• Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in UAE government relations and immigration.
• Support PR team with government-related tasks and projects as assigned.
• Perform any other duties related to PRO and typing services as required.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Proven experience as a PRO, Typist, or Government Relations Officer in the UAE.
• Strong knowledge of UAE labor laws, immigration procedures, and government portals (MOHRE, GDRFA, ICA, DED, Free Zones).
• Excellent typing skills in English (Arabic typing is a strong advantage).
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• High level of integrity and confidentiality.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
