Role overview:
The Traffic Assistant is responsible for managing all fleet-related government transactions to ensure seamless and compliant vehicle operations.
This role serves as the liaison between the company and various government authorities, including RTA, police departments, courts, and other regulatory bodies.
The Traffic Assistant plays a key role in preventing operational disruptions by ensuring all registrations, permits, fines, and legal matters are handled efficiently and on time.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all RTA-related transactions for the company fleet, including:
- o Vehicle registrations and renewals
- o Ownership transfers
- o Deregistration and sale-related processes
- Process transportation permits (including Dubai and other emirates, as applicable) and ensure full compliance with local authority regulations.
- Obtain advertisement permits for vehicles leased to customers in accordance with government regulations.
- Coordinate with government departments and courts to resolve issues that may affect fleet operations.
- Ensure timely verification and payment of traffic fines to prevent file blockages or penalties.
- Facilitate the release of impounded vehicles from police custody.
- Support the Accident Department by:
- o Assisting in obtaining official l accident reports
- o Coordinating with relevant authorities
- o Resolving accident-related documentation issues
- Maintain accurate records of all fleet-related transactions and documentation.
- Monitor expiry dates of registrations, permits, and other regulatory documents to ensure timely renewals.
