Qualifications
- Experience in printing and print production operations, including operation of different printers for small- and large-volume jobs.
- Basic printer support, troubleshooting, routine maintenance, and simple repairs are required.
- Knowledge of post-print finishing, including cutting, folding, binding, and final finishing, is required.
- Familiarity with inkjet printing systems, setup, calibration, and ink management is required.
- Attention to detail and adherence to quality standards and technical instructions are required.
- Basic computer skills for managing print queues, job cards, and production schedules are required.
- Ability to work at the Giza worksite, manage time effectively, and coordinate with internal teams is required.
- Previous printing press or production experience is preferred.
- Vocational or technical training in printing or a related field is an advantage.
Responsibilities
- Operate different types of printers for small- and large-volume printing tasks.
- Provide basic printer support, troubleshoot faults, and perform routine maintenance and simple repairs.
- Complete post-print finishing work, including cutting, folding, binding, and final finishing.
- Set up and calibrate inkjet printing systems and manage inks.
- Follow technical instructions, job specifications, and required quality standards.
- Manage print queues, job cards, and production schedules using basic computer systems.
- Coordinate with internal teams and manage time to meet production deadlines.
