- Manage electrical engineering services that meet company, customer and statutory specifications, on time and within budget.
- Manage electrical engineering project requirements.
- Participate in relevant meetings, prepare progress reports and comply with required checking procedures.
- Ensure project scope is clear and changes comply with change management processes.
- Provide advice during procurement, construction and commissioning activities, including overseeing requisitions, technical bid evaluations and purchase order preparation.
- Act as the electrical engineering Lead on specific projects.
- If responsible for a team, outline project requirements, assign tasks and supervise progress.
- Proactively resolve discrepancies between company and customer requirements.
- Keep up to date with latest developments and technical innovations in electrical engineering.
- Assist and support junior personnel within the electrical engineering team if required.
- Communicate effectively with the electrical engineering team and project stakeholders.
- Identify issues and problems, develop appropriate solutions, and ask for assistance when required.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited University
- Minimum 17+ years design experience (Detailed Design, PRE FEED, FEED) within the oil and gas industry
- Last 5 years leading a team of discipline engineers and designers
- Minimum 10 years in Onshore projects
- Extensive technical, practical and leadership experience in leading large projects

- Manage electrical engineering project requirements.
- Manage electrical engineering services such as: participate in relevant meetings, prepare progress reports and comply with required checking procedures; ensure the project scope is clear and that changes comply with project change management processes; provide advice during procurement, construction

- If responsible for a team: outline project requirements including actively promoting workshare, where appropriate, assign tasks and supervise progress; and ensure the required services meet company, its customers and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements, on time and within budget.
- Proactively resolve any discrepancies between company and its Customer's requirements.
- Keep up to date with the latest developments and technical innovations in electrical engineering.
- If required, assist and support junior personnel within the electrical engineering team.

Requirements
- Must have Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited University.
- Minimum 17+ years design experience (Detailed Design, PRE FEED, FEED) within the oil and gas industry, with last 5 years’ at least, leading a team of discipline engineers and designers
- Minimum 10 years in Onshore projects.
- Extensive work experience at a senior level within the Oil & Gas industry
- Extensive technical, practical and leadership experience in leading large projects.
