About the Role
Worley is seeking a Principal Process Engineer to provide process engineering services on large or mega projects in Doha, Qatar. The role involves managing process engineering services, acting as the process engineering lead on specific projects, and ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory specifications.

- Manage process engineering services that meet Worley's, its customers' and applicable statutory and regulatory specifications, on time and within budget.
- Manage process engineering project requirements.
- Participate in relevant meetings, prepare progress reports and comply with required checking procedures.
- Ensure the project scope is clear and that changes comply with project change management processes.
- Provide advice during procurement, construction and commissioning activities.
- Act as the process engineering Lead on specific projects.
- If responsible for a team, outline project requirements, assign tasks and supervise progress.
- Proactively resolve any discrepancies between Worley and its Customer's requirements.
- Keep up to date with the latest developments and technical innovations in process engineering.
- Assist and support junior personnel within the process engineering team if required.
- Communicate effectively with the process engineering team and project stakeholders.
- Identify issues and problems, develop appropriate solutions, and ask for assistance when required.
Requirements
- Full Time Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering from an accredited university.
- MME (Ministry of Municipality and Environment) engineering accreditation is a mandatory requirement. Candidates not holding this accreditation must be willing to achieve this within the probationary period.
- Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) status or undertaking the same will be an advantage.
- Extensive work experience at a senior level within the Oil & Gas industry in offshore projects.
- Must have vast design experience within the oil and gas industry, with last 5 years at least, leading a team of process discipline engineers and designers.
- Extensive technical, practical and leadership experience in the process discipline in the same or similar industry.

Education – Qualifications, Accreditation, Training
- Full Time Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering from an accredited university.
