Responsibilities
- Lead mechanical design and design reviews for large scale data centre and mission critical projects
- Oversee HVAC, Plumbing Water, Plumbing Drainage, Plumbing LPG and Fire Fighting systems
- Coordinate multidisciplinary design teams, consultants, contractors and clients
- Conduct independent design reviews and ensure compliance with local and international standards
- Provide technical leadership on equipment selection, procurement and value engineering initiatives
- Liaise with authorities and support design approvals
- Mentor and develop junior engineers while ensuring high quality project delivery
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 10–15 years' experience in mechanical building services design
- Proven experience delivering hyperscale, colocation or mission critical data centre projects
- Experience leading complex, multidisciplinary engineering design projects
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing and fire fighting systems and applicable international standards
- Proficiency in Hevacomp, IESVE, CYMAP, AutoCAD and Revit
- Strong communication, coordination and stakeholder management skills
