How You'll Create Possibilities

Lead Control System Design: Specify and engineer sophisticated control systems for metal stamping presses and related equipment—meeting specifications, budgets, and safety standards.

Own the Technology: Architect, program, and implement PLCs, HMIs, and network configurations—primarily using Rockwell Automation products, with flexibility to integrate Siemens solutions.

Drive Process Excellence: Partner with cross-functional teams to refine manufacturing processes and ensure alignment with industry best practices.

Innovate & Improve: Analyze system performance, recommend improvements, and implement cutting-edge automation and robotics technologies.

Champion Safety: Conduct machine safety risk assessments and ensure compliance with ANSI, NFPA, and ISO standards.

Mentor & Lead: Provide technical leadership, troubleshoot complex issues, and guide engineering teams to deliver projects on time and at the highest quality.

What You'll Bring to Our Team

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, or a related field or equivalent experience.

7+ years of experience in industrial control system design and implementation, with specific expertise in metal stamping applications and automated manufacturing equipment.

Proven proficiency in Rockwell Automation and Siemens platforms, including PLC programming, HMI development, and network configurations.

Strong understanding of machine safety standards (e.g., ANSI/RIA R15.06, NFPA 79, ISO 13849) and the ability to apply them to system design.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team, adapting to dynamic project demands.

Proven track record of leading complex projects and delivering results in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Solid communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical information to diverse audiences.

Willingness to travel as required, typically ~25%.

Preferred Qualifications:

BS/MS degree in Electrical Engineering

Experience with assembly line design, automation and customized fabrication equipment and manufacturing processes

Hands-o n experience in designing and operation of multiple axis automation equipment and/ or robots

Prior NPI program experience

Proficient in AutoCAD and MS Project (or equivalent)
