About the Role
Worley is seeking a Principal Environmental Engineer to lead environmental engineering studies for municipal, industrial, and hydrocarbon projects. The role involves developing environmental strategies, managing regulatory approvals, and mentoring teams.

Responsibilities
- Supports proposals by developing the discipline execution strategy, estimating costs, writing proposal content, and presenting to customers.
- Will be called upon to lead all or part of the technical proposal.
- Planning of man hour budgets, schedules, manpower loadings and staffing requirements, by skill and experience, to satisfy project requirements and direction given by the Discipline Manager.
- Ensures the project work is covered for vacation and unplanned absences.
- Mentors/trains and supports the delivery of training.
- Works to resolve inter discipline, vendor, and customer issues.
- Ensures discipline technical work and team activities meet all health, safety, environmental, and security requirements.
- Develop environmental strategies for project approvals.
- Co ordinate and manage regulatory approval processes.
- Environmental engineering Deliverables in Conceptual through Detail Design for a wide range of engineering projects.
Requirements
- Engineering Degree in Environmental Science or other related discipline from an accredited University
- Post Graduate Qualification in Environmental Studies (Masters or Doctorate) is desirable
- Extensive work experience at a senior level within the industry
- Relevant years’ experience in Environmental engineering studies for Municipal, Industrial and Hydrocarbon and Petrochemical facilities and related infrastructure
- Experience of working in a regulatory authority is desirable

Education – Qualifications, Accreditation, Training
