Role Overview

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage subcontract tenders from issue through clarification, evaluation, negotiation, and award recommendation.
• Draft, review, and negotiate subcontracts, purchase orders, site-services terms, and ancillary agreements.
• Analyze prime contract obligations and prepare flow-down provisions, special conditions, and risk allocations.
• Coordinate Legal, Compliance, Tax, Insurance, Finance, Procurement, technical, HSE, Quality, and project inputs.
• Manage subcontract performance, securities, insurance, warranties, KPIs, reporting, claims, and close-out.
• Maintain commercial records, support audits, ensure procedural compliance, and guide less experienced team members.

Essential Qualifications and Skills

• Degree or equivalent experience in Law, Commerce, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or a related discipline.
• Significant subcontract, procurement, contracts, or commercial-management experience in energy, oil and gas, engineering, construction, or industrial services.
• Ability to interpret prime contracts, develop flow-down provisions, and negotiate complex subcontract terms.
• Experience with preparation, evaluation, award, variations, claims, and post-award administration.
• Strong drafting, negotiation, analytical, commercial-judgment, and stakeholder-management skills.

Desirable Experience

• Experience in operations and maintenance, brownfield or greenfield projects, wells, or engineering scopes is desirable.
• MENA experience is desirable.
• Engineers with strong site-based commercial or subcontracting experience are encouraged to apply.
