Key Responsibilities
- Develop the Security Management Plan and manage implementation based on Petrofac policies, standards and guidelines.
- Provide recommendations to project security management on physical, technical, static and mobile security measures.
- Perform threat and vulnerability assessments, and risk analyses, and maintain the security risk register.
- Guide and assist project security management in completing project threat and vulnerability assessments.
- Coordinate between all sites to develop and implement security led evacuation planning.
- Keep management advised of significant security developments and produce monthly security reports.
- Maintain high awareness of the security environment for the region.
- Oversee all travel and journey management requirements.
- Engage with local security apparatus, community leaders and diplomatic missions.
- Maintain strong communications with third party security providers.
- Maintain and strengthen relationship with customer security functions.
- Assure compliance with all relevant local and international regulatory requirements.
Essential Qualifications and Experience
- Relevant degree in Security
- 10 years’ experience in security management
Skills and Competencies
- Strong security management knowledge.
- Oil and gas EPC project knowledge.
- Excellent communication, coordination and organizational skills.
- Ability to meet schedules and security objectives.
- Knowledge of Petrofac security management processes.
- Professional and courteous interface with customers, partners, vendors, diplomatic missions and personnel.
- Ability to lead, inspire and motivate project security personnel.
- Ability to work unsupervised, acting under own initiative.
- Good security planning and analysis skills.
