About the Role

Responsibilities
- Oversee day to day HSE activities in accordance with designated areas of responsibility
- Maintain HSE Management System in line with ISO 14001 & ISO 45001 to retain certification
- Develop and maintain necessary HSE MS documentation for the project
- Initiate and support HSE Awareness programs and campaigns
- Application of hazard identification and risk assessment processes and implementation of appropriate control measures
- Participate in the review of the effectiveness of hazard controls/mitigations
- Participate in implementing HSE lessons learned within designated areas of responsibility
- Provide input to the HSE component of the action tracking system
- Ensure HSE requirements are communicated to all relevant personnel and verify compliance
- Assist fully in the investigation of incidents and near misses
- Organize and participate fully in all compliance assurance audits, inspections, performance meetings
- Ensure Objectives, Policies and Procedures are implemented in designated areas of responsibility
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree (4 years) or Diploma (3 years)
- NEBOSH certification or equivalent
- Lead or Internal Auditor (ISO 45001/ ISO 14001)
- 5 years of HSE experience preferably Oil & Gas site experience
- Ability to understand and implement HSE Plans and Site Specific HSE Procedures / Work Instructions and Safe System of Work
- Ability to conduct site inspections
- Incident investigation and root cause analysis
- Good communication skills

Key Responsibilities

- Assist fully in the investigation of incidents and near misses.
- Organize and participate fully and openly in all compliance assurance audits, inspections, performance meetings, etc.
- Ensure Objectives, Policies and Procedures are implemented in designated areas of responsibility.
Essential Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree (4 years) or Diploma (3 years).
- NEBOSH certification or equivalent.
- Lead or Internal Auditor (ISO 45001/ ISO 14001).
- 5 years of HSE experience preferably Oil & Gas site experience.
- Ability to understand and implement HSE Plans and Site Specific HSE Procedures / Work Instructions and Safe System of Work.
