Requirements

• Applicants must hold a PhD degree or terminal degree from a recognized institution of higher learning with no more than five years post receipt of this degree, in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, telecommunications, or related field.
• Other requirements include:
• Proven track record of publications in IEEE Communications Society’s and IEEE Signal Processing Society’s journals and conferences.
• Strong background in communication theory, signal processing, machine learning, and optimization theory.
• Strong verbal and written skills in English.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and capacity to pursue independent research as well as mentor graduate students.
• In addition to the above qualifications, it is desirable that the applicants have:
• Research background in one or more of the following areas: massive MIMO, near-field propagation, channel estimation.
• Experience working with software defined radios and experimental testbeds for wireless communications systems.
