Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- 5+ years of experience in an administrative role in experimental research
- 1 year of experience in an administrative supervisory role in experimental research and research ethics compliance
- Human subjects training
- Fluency in English and knowledge of regional languages (Arabic, Urdu, Hindi, Malayalam, Filipino, Sinhala, Tamil)
- Fluency with MS Office

Position Summary
- NYUAD seeks a Program Manager, Human Subjects Research reporting to Director of the Social Science Experimental Laboratory and Program Head of the MSc in Economics.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage existing relationships with other universities and organizations to create a culture of research participation
- Develop experimental research tools and materials on a project specific basis
- Plan project specific human subject recruitment needs for faculty in Social Science and Science divisions
- Cultivate new relationships with members of the local community to engage them in human subjects research
- Manage recruitment of project specific human subjects including development and presentation of research projects
- Lead and manage communication and outreach efforts with potential subjects
- Manage experimental research sessions including testing programs, overseeing experimental administration, and tracking financial requirements
- Manage requirements of research groups interested in conducting human subjects research in the UAE
- Develop and implement human subject recruitment strategies given ethical, legal, and federal regulations
- Manage collaboration with other NYUAD Outreach Specialists and departments
- Manage timely preparation and submission of all relevant IRB requirements
- Advise faculty on human subjects and research ethics compliance matters
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- 5+ years of experience in an administrative role in experimental research
- 1 year of experience in an administrative supervisory role in experimental research and research ethics compliance
- Human subjects training
- Ability to work in an international setting and build relationships with diverse cultural backgrounds
- Strong language skills: fluency in English and some knowledge of Arabic, Urdu, Hindi, Malayalam, Filipino, Sinhala, Tamil
- Fluency with MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, etc.)
