About the Role

- Research experience in centrifuge experimental modeling, including test design, execution, instrumentation, data collection, and result interpretation
- Experience with CAD and modeling tools, such as SolidWorks, for experimental design and apparatus development (preferred)

Research Project
- The successful candidate will contribute to a research project focused on the development, testing, and analysis of resilient geotechnical systems.
- The work will rely on centrifuge modeling, geotechnical laboratory testing, and complementary numerical simulations to improve understanding of soil behavior and geotechnical system performance for infrastructure, energy, and sustainability applications.
Post Doctoral Associate Will Be Expected To
- Perform and interpret geotechnical laboratory tests to support the experimental program.
- Plan, design, conduct, and analyze centrifuge model experiments.
- Contribute to the design and development of experimental setups and apparatus, with SolidWorks experience considered an advantage.
