Job Purpose

Lead operations for the plant organization and ensure smooth end-to-end supply chain operations.

Ensure timely delivery of quality products to the sales organization and other customers.

Plant Operations

  • Lead implementation of the Oracle manufacturing system.
  • Manage third-party and toll-manufacturing customer liaison and support.
  • Establish vendor and service-provider selection, evaluation, and development programs.
  • Set up logistics and stock-point inventory control and monitoring programs.
  • Plan production to meet sales orders, inventory levels, quality targets, and service levels.
  • Optimize plant resources, production, and delivery processes.

Safety and Strategy

  • Ensure safe plant operations and compliance with Group and local regulations.
  • Coordinate with HSE authorities and provide resources for the plant HSE management system.
  • Update the strategic plant-development plan with Sales, Technical, and Logistics functions.
  • Propose and execute CAPEX budgets and contracts within required time frames.
  • Coordinate staff training and development to support motivation and performance.

Information Security

  • Comply with applicable information security policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Protect information assets according to the Data Classification Standard.
  • Participate in mandatory information security awareness and training.
  • Report security incidents, vulnerabilities, weaknesses, or non-compliance.
  • Fulfil role-specific responsibilities supporting the Information Security Management System.

Experience and Qualifications

  • University degree in Chemical Engineering.
  • Ten to fifteen years of experience in the lubricant or a similar industry.
  • At least seven to ten years in production, logistics, or quality systems and controls.
  • Strong people-management skills and an aptitude for training, development, and motivation.
  • Exposure to QHSE quality systems is preferred.
